Tari Willis Associates have extensive experience in dealing with Insurance claims and liaising with Insurers/Loss Adjusters. Whether the Insured's property has suffered damage due to storm, subsidence, landslip, fire, flood or a vehicle impact we are often called in to advise on immediate or urgent action that should be taken to ensure safety of the structure or public.

As independent consultants we investigate and confirm cause of the damage to the structure and recommend suitable remedial works.

The local authority and individual property owners (householders, builders or those responsible for public, retail and commercial premises) worried about cracks or other distortions call us in to carry out structural assessments. In some cases the cause of damage or distress is due to inherent design defects in the structure and not related to an Insurance claim, appropriate repairs are recommended and specified.

In more serious or complex cases further investigations may be required to determine the exact cause and hence the remedial solution.

During recent droughts we have investigated many subsidence claims for our clients or the householder. On agreeing the extent of repairs with all parties and the budget, Tari Willis Associates design and specify the repairs for tender and carry out site inspections to a satisfactory conclusion.

We have extensive geotechnical experience of dealing with subsidence related to trees and clay soils, including many other causes.
